Your role

Oma’s Soep finances the cooking days/surprise packages for the elderly by selling soups on a large scale. Since this year, Oma’s Soep also sells a new product: Oma’s Soep – Stamppotje. We make the soups and stews based on grandma’s recipe in a professional production kitchen. Oma’s Soep sells her soups to supermarkets, companies, restaurants and hospitals. We are already on the shelves of Albert Heijn, AH to Go, Spar, Picnic and Jan Linders Supermarkets. Oma’s Stamppotje is currently only selling her soup in her store in: ‘t Keukentje in Amsterdam. The goal is also to sell these Oma’s Stamppotten as soon as possible through supermarkets, businesses and restaurants. Our dream is to be able to bring young and old together throughout the Netherlands, to realize this we need to sell more soup and stew. As a Sales Intern, you will take care of this. Together with the fulltime team you will continue to look for new opportunities and customers throughout the Netherlands. You will close the very best deals.

What are we looking for in you?

You are full of positive energy, you work independently and you are socially strong by nature. You become enthusiastic about selling and getting deals and at the same time you are able to tell the social and sustainable story of Oma’s Soep authentically. At the same time you stick to your appointments and use your creativity to ensure that new clients become long-term clients. It also comes in handy when you have your driver’s license and are willing to do a minimum of 5 months internship (a little more or less is also possible in consultation).

What are you going to do?

We would like to give you the responsibility of recruiting new partners in the hospitality industry and business. These can be local as well as national caterers, restaurants, hotels and businesses. You will also entrust the contact with the supermarket stores of Albert Heijn and de Spar and keep in close contact with a number of existing large customers (Anne & Max, Deloitte, VandeBron, etc.). You also actively think about the sales strategy of Oma’s Soep together with the founder, who has the final responsibility of the sales. With the sale of Oma’s Stamppot there is also a nice new challenge! To optimise the interface with the elderly and the social concept, you will go along once a month and have fun on a cooking day or a Oma’s Soep Home-to-Home day.

Your environment?

An environment in which you are given the freedom to develop yourself at lightning speed and you learn to execute your own sales strategy. You’ll get a look behind the scenes of one of the fastest growing social startups, learn about the emerging sustainable food industry and get in touch with large companies that also want to buy or help grow Oma’s Soep. The founder will also give you the necessary guidance and will take you to sales meetings (especially in the beginning you will be guided intensively).

Do you feel that you become enthusiastic about Oma’s Soep and do you want to contribute to this? Send your resume and motivation to info@omassoep.nl
