Your role
Oma’s Soep finances the cooking days/surprise packages for the elderly by selling soups on a large scale. Since this year Oma’s Soep also sells a new product: Oma’s Soep – Stamppotje. We make the soups and stews based on grandma’s recipe in a professional production kitchen. Oma’s Soep sells her soups to supermarkets, companies, restaurants and hospitals. We are already on the shelves of Albert Heijn, AH to Go, Spar, Picnic and Jan Linders Supermarkets. Oma’s Stamppotje is currently only selling her soup in her store in: ‘t Keukentje in Amsterdam. The goal is also to sell these Oma’s Stamppots as soon as possible through supermarkets, businesses and restaurants. Our dream is to be able to bring young and old together throughout the Netherlands, to realise this we need to sell more soup and stew. This is only possible if Oma’s Soep becomes even better known nationwide and you as Marketing Intern will take care of this. Together with the full-time team you will put Oma’s Soep on the map online and offline throughout the Netherlands!
What are we looking for in you?
You are full of positive energy, you are creative, you work independently and you are socially strong by nature. You have an intrinsic motivation to make a social impact and to dedicate yourself to other people. You get excited about coming up with new campaigns and you are full of ideas to tell as many people as possible the story of Grandma’s Soup. At the same time, you can quickly turn your ideas into action, both through marketing, as well as personally expressing the social story of Grandma’s Soup. As with any fast-growing startup, you have a lot of freedom, but that sometimes goes hand in hand with flexibility. It also comes in handy if you have your driver’s license and are willing to do at least 5 months internship (a little more or less is also possible in consultation).
What are you going to do?
You will be given the freedom and responsibility to set up all marketing campaigns so that we become a success in the AH, AH to Go, Spar, Picnic and Jan Linders Supermarkets. You will keep in close contact with these supermarket stores to ensure that our soups are as visible as possible in these stores and therefore sold as well as possible. In addition, you will also work with the Oma’s Soep Boards, students who are responsible for organising local Oma’s Soep events / campaigns in Amsterdam, Groningen, Rotterdam, Delft and Utrecht. So, you will work on physical campaigns and events as well as online via Facebook and Instagram. For social media you will also think about the overall marketing strategy of Oma’s Soep and you will be co-responsible for its implementation. To optimise the interface with the elderly and the social concept, you will also join a cooking day or a Oma’s Soep-to-Home day once a month.
Your environment?
At Oma’s Soep you get the freedom to develop yourself at lightning speed. You can set up your own campaigns and with the help of the owners you will also take care of their implementation.
You’ll get a look behind the scenes of one of the fastest growing social startups, learn about the emerging sustainable food industry and come into contact with large companies that also want to buy or to help grow Oma’s Soep.
Do you feel that Oma’s Soep makes you enthusiastic and do you want to help? Send your resume and motivation to info@omassoep.nl.
